In connection with Nokia, scientists from the University of Southampton have found a way to harness the power of raw lighting to power a mobile. Although the group themselves say that this is potential highly dangerous and you should NOT try this at home, it may be a concept for the future. It is a huge step in science and technology and they can begin to understand much more how the charge passes through the air and how they can manipulate it. This could work for off the beaten track villages, who cant always get power, or even for people to possibly begin to start charging multiple devices at one charge point. Moving on from this it could be designed that, they can turn this into charge stations around cities ext, where people are all ways on the go and could do with a quick charge. Obviously that i a way off right now, but very possibly something that can work on and will be big in the future.
