Sainsbury’s have launched a new advertising campaign, or
could also be called a set of trailers. The series of trailers are based around
Christmas and that family feeling and fun. The film is going to be 50 minutes long and is
aiming to tell the story of Christmas, the project has been funded by Sainsbury’s.
The film is then going to be premiered on the 28th of November at
the Bafta cinema in London. It will then be uploaded to YouTube on the 29th.
Sainsbury’s are trying to recreate through the trailer
adverts is that of making a special Christmas. How that by buying products from
the Sainsbury’s retail store, the customers will be able to have a very special
Christmas of their own. Personally I think it works very well, they is a lot of
different things in the advert that a lot of people will be able to relate to.
The fact that the whole film will be added to YouTube is a
great idea, this is fully utilising the digital online market that is a large.
Getting a wide audience to see the film and make them believe that the film reflect
what the Sainsbury’s brand is about, creating something memorable and individual
to every customer.
