This post is about a piece of design that I
came across on Behance by Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz for a Milky PinUps 2014 calendar.
The calendar features a range of female models wearing milk created outfits. I
think that what has been created has a fantastic finish and actually looks
really great!
The photos at first appeared to me as if
they had been created using CGI, but after reading through the article and
looking at the behind the scenes images it appears that all of the milky images
were photographed.
As can be seen above, the outfits have been
made from milk being poured over the models and then captured by a camera.
Several of these shot have been taken and then edited together to make a full
outfit. Using this method to create the images gives that very original feel to
the images, as an image exactly the same will never be created ever again, this
is a one time image.
I really like the finish to this design, i think they have created something very nice and unique, using a range of techniques and image manipulation.
