Technology - Printable Victoria's Secret Pants

Recently there has been a lot of talk about 3D printers and how they are being used. In the news these stories seem to be negatively based, looking at how people are using them to create weaponry, more specifically guns. But here I have come across an interesting story about a company called Tamicar that are able to 3D print a soft breathable fabric that is usable for clothing such as pants.
A huge company in the underwear business has become interested in this new type of underwear design/creation.  Victoria’s Secret has shown it interest in the 3D printing process earlier this month, as they created a 3D printed outfit for one the models at a show in New York. The company created a set of white “wings” covered in Swarovski crystals and the model wore this with the Victoria’s Secret lingerie. Its still unclear at this stage how close this new line from Victoria’s Secret is away or as to what they will look like or styled, but this could be a big move forward. It has been said that they would be able to create up to 10 millions pairs of underwear a year, this is a phenomenal amount.
With big companies getting on the 3D printing hype like this, who knows who will be next to join in, or even more so what will be created on the printers next.
